Introduction to Sudoku

Sudoku

Sudoku is a puzzle game that consists of 9 x 9 grids. It consists of 9 squares and each of the squares is 3 x 3. The lesser the numbers are among the grids, the harder the game.

Rules in Sudoku

In this puzzle game, you have to fill in numbers from 1 to 9 in every row, every column, every 3 x 3 square grids. You cannot use the same number twice in the same row, same column, and same square grid.

Example game 1

In this example, I got it wrong when I place digit 1 in that position (red colour digit). This is because there is also digit 1 in the same 3 x 3 grids and same row.

Example game 2

In this example, I place the digit 5 in that position (blue colour digit) because digit 5 can only be placed in that position and it did not crash with the other digit 5 in the same row, same column and same 3 x 3 grids.

In this example, let look at the bottom-left and bottom-right grids, you can fill in the 2 spaces (mark with the digit "2")  with digit 2. And you don't know which space is the correct space for 2. In this case, please don't guess the answer. All puzzle can be solved with our brain and not guessing. If you continue to fill in the other digits, you will find the answer for digit 2 since the other digits will minimise the possibility of many digits in one space.
